The Joe C. Thompson Conference Center (TCC) is a full-service, non-residential conference center located on The University of Texas at Austin campus. As Texas’s first educational conference center, TCC has a long history of supporting educational development and personal enrichment programs.

The center serves a variety of clients and hosts a wide assortment of educational programs and events throughout the year. Government entities use the center for workshops for their employees as well as for meetings with the general public. External use, with university co-sponsorship, includes not-for-profit educational events planned by corporations, non-profit agencies and business associations.

Serving clients' educational event needs for external audiences or internal staff, TCC hosts a variety of professional education and personal enrichment classes every day.

Between the TCC lecture halls and the LBJ Auditorium, we can accommodate audiences of 24 to 967 for panel discussions, enrichment lectures or keynote addresses.

Catering for events is offered exclusively by our in-house caterer. Plan a menu that fits your budget: coffee and cookies, a buffet lunch, a seated dinner or anything in between.
Parking is available on-site in Lot 40. There are a limited number of spaces for those attending programs in our facilities available on a first-come, first-served basis.
