Julie Martenson and the staff at UT OLLI had to transition quickly to online classes.
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is a long-standing program on the UT Austin campus that hosts classes for retirees. With their members considered one of the demographics most at risk from coronavirus, Martenson's team had to quickly transition their in-person program to a virtual environment. Since their in-person courses are held in the Thompson Conference Center, it was a natural fit for the team at TCC to help them move online.
Martenson said the TCC team offered "an experienced and professional staff that handled details from the simple to the complex by training the novice speaker, seasoned professional, and casual technology user to fully execute a successful and enjoyable program.
