We know event planning can be overwhelming, but at the Thompson Conference Center we have event coordinators and staff ready to help make your event a success! We can support you whether your event is in-person or hybrid.

Campus
Campus organizations host many types of events at TCC and the LBJ Auditorium, from graduations and ceremonies to staff training and faculty meetings. UT Austin Colleges, Schools, and Units (CSUs), student groups, and others qualify for this category.
Government
Representatives of city, state and federal governmental agencies plan events at TCC and the LBJ Auditorium for both internal groups and community audiences, including professional development workshops, town hall meetings and conferences.
External
External groups encompass all organizations and businesses that are not part of UT Austin or any government entity. Planners from places like non-profits and private schools have hosted conferences, graduations, staff trainings and more at TCC.
